On 1 April 2019 the DOC Moscow office hosted a lecture by Prof. Daisuke Kotegawa, Research Director of the Canon Institute for Global Studies; and former Executive Director for Japan at the International Monetary Fund. Event was also attended by Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic in the Russian Federation.

The multilateralism is the most important issue to be discussed at macro level… The future global order should be multilateral, there is no alternatives to that” – underlined ambassador Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio.

Prof. Daisuke Kotegawa presented a retrospective of major economic and political events over the past 40 years, and together with experts from the business and research communities will discuss the current world economic and political situation.

The DOC Research Institute established successful partnerships with the T20 – the G20-affiliated think tank community in 2016. In 2019, the DOC participated in the work of the T20 Japan task force #4 – a dedicated working body designed to submit policy recommendations on infrastructure planning and financing to G20 leaders.
