Mr. Kujat is a former General of the German Airforce and served among many other responsible positions as Inspector General, the highest ranked soldier of German army, as well as chairman of NATO military committee.Already as young man he was honored in 1962 for his engagement in the fight against the infamous Hamburg flood, one of the greates desasters the city has ever seen.
It was the first honour of many more to follow in his ensuing successful military career, receiving various prestigous national and international honours.Harald Kujat’s expertise has been in high demand from prominent political and military responsible persons. For the former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt he served as security advisor in German Chancellery. For NATO commander-in-chief General Joulwan, Mr. Kujat took over the newly created position „Director of Coordination of IFOR forces in Bosnia“ to help implement the Dayton Peace Agreement.In 1999 Kujat was appointed Director of Policy and Advisory Staff at the German mininstry of defense. In this function he served as advisor for the minister of defense with regard to all fundamental long-term issues with military or defense implications.Today Harald Kujat is one of the most respected and profiled military experts in Germany.
