Delphi Economic Forum: For a world with fewer inequalities

Vladimir Yakunin: For a world with fewer inequalities

Vladimir Yakunin, who was involved in founding the Rhodes Forum, gave a talk at the 3rd Delphi Economic Forum on the subject of ‚Dialogue of Cultures: Visions and Prospects‘, in which he referred to the great challenges that humanity faces today due to globalisation and social inequality.

Referring to the five areas in which humanity currently faces significant threats (economy, environment, geopolitics, society, and technology), Dr Yakunin noted that they all constitute ‚humanitarian dangers’. He stressed the importance of addressing social inequality, refugee flows, and ecological challenges.
