Infrastructure as the Backbone of Global Inclusive Development

How does the development of infrastructure promote social and economic justice? How can national and international infrastructure projects reduce inequality and promote both sustainable development and environmental flourishing?

Proposals should consider the following themes:

  • social and economic infrastructure mega-projects as tools for building social cohesion and reducing economic disparity, poverty, and deprivation;
  • responsible financing as a major factor in long-term integral development acceleration;
  • the development of human capital and environmental programmes as new key measurements of the success of infrastructure projects.
