Biography

Jens Wendland is a Cultural and Media Science specialist, Lecturer at University of the Arts and Humboldt University – Berlin (Germany).

Study of law, cultural and media science, doctorate at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Author for newspapers, broadcasting companies – among others:  FAZ, Süddeutsche Zeitung, West German Radio. Publications on culture and media subjects: at last, „media change by digitalization“, Nomos publishing company.

Editor, and until 2003 – program manager, Public Radio in Berlin.

University teacher: University of the arts Berlin, Humboldt University Berlin, foreign professor at the chair of media science and media economy at the journalistic faculty of the Lomonossow Moscow State University (MSU), and until 2012 – German manager of the free Russian-German institute of journalism in the MSU.
