Alain Bidjeck is an expert on African music and cultural industries. For 15 years, he has initiated and managed numerous projects in France and Africa.
He has created and managed several cultural companies including Orig’in Production, the consulting agency Bejika, the Center of Cultures of Africa in Paris to produce, support artists, entrepreneurs and institutions in the development of African cultural industries .
Aware of the challenges faced by artists and entrepreneurs of African cultures in France, he initiates and actively participates in the production of flagship events including MIDEM, the MOCA (Forum of Cultures of Africa), the MAMA Event, African Music Forum, the Africaphonie Festival … to help them better understand their ecosystem, meet new partners and create new business models.
He also coordinates and develops the Midem African Forum in South Africa, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon and Nigeria.
Valuing Africa and its diaspora through culture is the driving force of its approach.
