Hind Arroub is a Moroccan political & social scientist, human rights activist, poet, and international consultant. She is the Founder & the Director of an independent and interdisciplinary Think Tank ‘Hypatia of Alexandria Institute for Reflexion and Studies’. In 2016, she received the Fulbright award as an International senior lecturer and scholar. In 2019, she received a travel grant from the German Federal Foreign office to do research in Berlin.

Hind was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University; she also is an associate researcher with CNRS at ‘Laboratoire Culture et Societe en Europe’ at the University of Strasbourg in France. She is the Regional Manager for North Africa with the international project on Democracy ‘Varieties of Democracy’ lead by Gothenburg University, Sweden. Hind acts also, as a reviewer for the American
Journal of North African Studies. In addition, she is a jury member of the Program Committee of the International Conference for Small Business. Hind is a former journalist.
