Mr. Goldstein has advised clients in Japan and across the globe for over three decades. With extensive experience in the international arena and a career traversing diverse industries, he co-founded PTB in April 2001 as an outgrowth of 10 years of policy analysis work on U.S.-Japan relations. .
He was a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) and from 1998 to 2009 he served as Vice President for International Consulting at the New World Institute in Virginia, where he organized multiple trilateral meetings between the U.S., China, and Japan.
Before venturing into strategic consulting and market research, he worked as a journalist in the 1970s and 1980s specializing in international security, terrorism, and intelligence matters. He majored in history and political science at Indiana State University 1967-1971.
