Vladimir Yakunin, Chairman, and Jean-Christophe Bas, CEO of the Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (DOC) invite you to attend a drinks reception at Residence Palace at 6pm on Tuesday 26 February to introduce the DOC’s mission, activities, it’s new presence in Brussels and announce the 17th edition of their flagship conference, the Rhodes Forum.

The DOC is an independent, non-partisan think tank based in Berlin. It is an independent platform for dialogue that brings together perspectives from the Western and developing worlds in a spirit of constructive engagement. The DOC aims to give a voice to the emerging world, and to put the human dimension at the heart of debates around globalisation. To do this, it produces research and recommendations that aim to influence and contribute to public policy making, and engages in advocacy and building public support on key issues. The DOC’s work focuses on three major areas: economics, governance and diplomacy, and culture and civilisation.

The Chairman and CEO look forward to welcoming you on 26 February.
