On July 1st, 2019 Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute jointly with Center for Development of Humanistic Ecology and Culture convene a seminar “The Development of Artificial Intelligence: Value Based Approach and Civilizational Features” in the frames of “Digital Transformations of Modernity” Expert Group activities.
Seminar participants will touch upon the values based approach to modern Artificial Intelligence technologies and analyze the existing international experience in development of philosophically founded navigation for new Information and Communication technologies. The participants will discuss how advancement of a humanistically oriented philosophy in the sphere of AI and ICT may provide an incentive for defining a safe and humane vector of sustainable development.
Key-speakers at the seminar: Nikita Solovyev, philosopher, futurologist, leading researcher at the St. Petersburg State Institute of Psychology and Social Work; Nikita Konopaltsev, DOC RI senior researcher; and Alexander Rudakov, executive director of the Center for Development of Humanistic Ecology and Culture.
The seminar will be held on July 1st, 2019 from 16.00 till 18.00 at DOC RI Moscow office (Pokrovka str., 42, build. 5).
