This roundtable will be held at the Vienna Diplomatic Academy by the Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute (DOC) and the Vienna School of International Studies.

Politicians, political scientists and journalists analyse and discuss the state of Austrian-Russian and German-Russian relations at a time of growing tension and confrontation in international politics.

The objective is to deepen the understanding of the present situation, at the same time assessing the respective risks and opportunities of available options: policies of escalation or policies of détente.
