Description

Author of the presentation reflects on such phenomena as globalization and political correctness. Elements of globalization and political correctness, he claims, are not new. They are easily seen and recognized as such in the history of the Crusades that have not yet ended for certain present-day countries and regions. Unjust and aggressive character of Crusades is revealed. It is pinpointed that all subsequent aggressive actions of the West toward the Muslim East through centuries were perceived by the Muslims as the continuation of the policy of Crusades, no matter which motives really moved the Western actors. Such policy, author claims, has no future. All that it can result in is instigating clash of civilizations.
