Andrey Grozin graduated from the Kazakh State University Al-Farabi, specialty “political science”. In 1993-1995 he was engaged in the analytical development of various aspects of the national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From the beginning of 1996, he continued research as a researcher in the applied political science sector of the CIS countries department at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and also as the head of the Department of Central Asia and Kazakhstan at the non-state Institute of Diaspora and Integration (CIS Institute).
Author of more than 100 publications in scientific and periodicals, three monographs (two in co-authorship).
Candidate of Historical Sciences.
